NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (NDT)
- Magnetic particle testing (MT) – testing carried out using a magnetic bench or yoke under UV light, making it possible to detect surface and subsurface defects in ferromagnetic materials.
- Penetrant testing (PT) – fluorescence testing, performed in a fume cupboard or on aircraft, making it possible to detect surface defects on various types of materials.
- Eddy current testing (ET) – testing with a portable defectoscope to detect surface and subsurface defects in conductive materials.
- Ultrasonic testing (UT) – allows defects to be detected throughout the volume of the workpiece being tested, determining the location, size and number of discrepancies present.
